A teacher at Sawla Senior High School (SHS) in the Savannah Region has been arrested by the Sawla Police over rape accusation by one of his students.
According to ASP Degraft Adjei of the Sawla Police outfit, doctor’s report revealed that the student, 19, had suffered some bruises.
He said the docket has been forwarded to the Attorney-General’s office for advice.

Adom News’ Rebecca Nantoma, who is following the story, reported that, the accused, Ernest Ocloo is in custody assisting with investigations and would face the law if found guilty.
She said the victim complained of abdominal pains and was rushed to the Sawla Polyclinic by the headteacher of the school.

The headteacher reported the matter to the police after the accusation leading to the arrest of the suspect.
