Ghanaian emerging artiste Kwaku Waves has released a new music video titled “A Growth With Me” as he continues to build momentum in his music career.
The video reflects the artiste’s journey of personal development, resilience, and self-discovery. It also captures themes of growth, struggle, ambition, and the reality of staying focused while pursuing success in the music industry.
Speaking about the project, Kwaku Waves described it as a reflection of his life journey so far.
“A Growth With Me is not just a song or video. It’s my story. It shows where I’m coming from, what I’ve been through, and how I’m still growing as a person and as an artiste,” he said.
Born Henneh Awuah Evans, he hails from Berekum in the Bono Region of Ghana. He blends Trap Soul, R&B, Hip-Hop, Highlife, and Hiplife, creating a versatile sound that continues to attract attention within Ghana’s underground music scene.
He has spent over 8–10 years developing his craft and has released two albums: Part of the Journey and Still Hustling for Better Days, the latter released in April 2026.
Reflecting on his journey, he noted: “Music has always been my way of expressing real life. I don’t just make songs for vibes… I make music that speaks about emotions, struggles, and dreams. This is only the beginning for me.”
Meanwhile, his music is available on major streaming platforms including Audiomack, Apple Music, Spotify, and Boomplay.
Some of his standout songs include “Gangstar Wave Me,” which has surpassed 1 million streams on Audiomack, “Can’t Stress Me,” and “Big Belt,” both of which have also recorded strong streaming numbers.
Despite being an independent and emerging artiste, Kwaku Waves continues to position himself as one of the young talents to watch, focusing on storytelling and emotional depth in his music.
He added: “I’m still learning, still growing, and still building my name. I believe my time will come, and when it does, the world will understand the real message behind my music.”
