Former president John Dramani Mahama has bid final farewell to his vice, Kwesi Amissah-Arthur as the late former late vice-president is laid in state today, Thursday, 26 July 2018 at the foyer of the Accra International Conference Center (AICC).

“Today, all of us- family, party comrades, well-wishers and the nation are united in grief at his passing. Our hearts reach out at this time to Matilda and the children, and also his aged mother.” Damrifa Due! Damrifa Die!!,” Mr Mahama said on his Facebook Post.

The late former Vice-President will be buried on Friday, 27 July 2018 at the Military Cemetery, Accra.

Mr Amissah-Arthur died on 29 June after collapsing during a workout session at the Airforce Gym.

He was 67.
