CEO of Slip Entertainment, Mark Okraku Mantey, has advised Kuami Eugene and his management to take steps to manage the level of fame the budding musician is exposed to now.

Speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, he said the musician’s comments concerning Patapaa’s music being “noisy” might be as a result of his inability to handle the level of fame he is currently enjoying.

In an interview with GHOne, Kuami Eugene said he will never collaborate with Patapaa because what he produces is “noise” and not music.

He disclosed that Patapaa has already called him for a collaboration, a request he has declined because he does not like the Swedru-born musician’s style of music

However, Mark Okraku Mantey has stressed that it was time Kuami Eugene made a conscious effort to learn how to handle fame as a young musician.

“…if fame gets into the head of Eugene, I won’t be surprised. Fame is a strong force because he is 21 and he has a big problem. Lynxx Entertainment has a big problem and he has to learn how to manage fame at his age…,” he said.

Nevertheless, Ghana’s ‘Rock Star,’ Kuami Eugene has rendered an apology to Patapaa and his fans for calling his music ‘noisy.’

“First, me den Patapaa be really close. We dey talk a lot and we dey laugh at each other. Every day he just dey laugh me say I dey do too much wedding songs – wey me too I dey laugh am say he dey do too much noisy songs. So It’s something we play plus. I beg, you guys should forgive me if you are offended with what I said. Forgive me. I’m so sorry,” he said in Pidgin English.

He also stated that he would always support Patapaa because he is hard working and is contributing a lot to the music industry.

But it seems the ‘One Corner’ hitmaker does not seem to be convinced with the apology. He has replied Kuami Eugene with a ‘diss’ song.
