Personnel from the military and police have raided Gomoa Budumburam/Liberia camp in the Central region to round up suspected criminals.
The Thursday morning swoop was informed by weeks of intelligence on crime trends in and around Kasoa.

Adom News’ Central regional correspondent, Kofi Adjei said personnel from the police and military Intelligence Directorate swooped the targeted areas in Gomoa Budumburam around 12:00 am.
He said the security personnel surrounded the whole area to ensure no one escapes.

Kofi Adjei noted that the suspects are believed to have engaged in various criminal acts including cyber-related crimes and robberies.
The suspects, including foreign nationals, are said to have rented several apartments in the area from where they plan and launch their nefarious activities.

The suspects would be screened and those found culpable of any criminal act after the investigations would be put before court.
