A 26-year-old mother of two is in a fix over her relationship with a man he entered a blood covenant.
Afia Konadu says she met her lover, identified only as Awudu in school 15 years ago, and they have since lived together at Bohyen in the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi.
Speaking on Nhyira Fm’s mystery show, Wiase Mu Nsem, she said Awudu lured her into a blood covenant and also compelled her to invoke spirits of dreaded Ashanti deities to deal with them should one of them violate the vow.
Though she was not prepared to do it, Afia said she was compelled just to show her love for Awudu.
Contrary to the terms of the spiritual covenant, Awudu has been subjecting Afia to physical and other forms of abuse.
Frustrated Afia who has now fallen out of love with Awudu wants the covenant broken.
“I can’t continue staying with Awudu because he always maltreats me after sleeping with other ladies. I found out about his affair with other ladies and the only thing he could do was to abuse me mercilessly.
“I want to leave him but I can’t because we have made a blood covenant. Anytime I try to leave him, something bad happens to me and so I really need help to be able to break that covenant because I can’t continue living in this misery” he noted.

But Awudu in response denied entering into blood covenant with her.
He explained that Afia, instead invoked curses on him for having amorous relationship with other women.
“I have not entered any blood covenant with Afia and so she should go and look for the man who did that to her. Living with her was hell because she was always blaming me for what I have not done” he cried.
