Three passenger have been confirmed dead in a gory accident that occurred along the Bandankwanta and Tinga road in the Bole -Bamboi district of the Northern Region.
Several others have been injured and hospitalized.
According to reports, a sprinter bus with registration number AS-1830-17 burst his tyre after the heavy metal in the tyre came off, accompanied by a huge blast, resulting in the tragedy.
They were said to be traveling from Techiman to Wa when the unfortunate incident happened Wednesday evening.
The disfigured bodies of the three deceased victims have been deposited at the morgue, while the inured are receiving treatment.
