Twenty (20) suspected criminals mainly land guards and drug peddlers have been grabbed by the Anti-land guards at Gomoa Budumburam, Kasoa and its environs.
Adom News’s Kofi Adjei who has been following the story reported that the police seized over 150 motor bikes from the suspected criminals.
He added that eight of them are Nigerians while the remaining suspects are Ghanaians.
He said the criminals parading themselves as landguards were suspected of various nefarious crimes in the metropolis.
The Kasoa police who briefed the press about the arrest said, investigations were still ongoing to process them for court.
According to the police, the swoop formed part of activities by the Regional Police Command to ensure that all kinds of criminal activities within Kasoa were halted to protect lives and property during the Christmas festivities.
