Former Member of Parliament for Ejura Sekyedumase Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Alhaji Mohammed Issifu Pangadu says he was able to purchase a V8 Landcruiser vehicle from New Patriotic Party’s Planting for Food and Jobs scheme.

Endorsing the policy on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen political show on Thursday, he said: “I believe in the planting for food and jobs because it worked for me. I gained a reasonable amount of money out of it and got myself a V8”.

He also urged members of his party to endorse the policy which is meant to better the lives of Ghanaians than resort to politicising it.

  1. I wish it’s the same elsewhere Hon.
I bought inputs for a 5 acre rice project at Akuse but not a single grain of the seed was viable. The officer in the Agric office after receiving my complaint said am not the only farmer to complain. However nothing could be done, money was wasted because someone corrupted the system and made his money.
I intend sending the system to court but a colleague advised me.
So Hon, it’s not the same everywhere.

    • Guy, if you finds for a law suit then do it.You would help protect the scheme by do so. And you might also receive compensation from the government of the court award it. Help Ghana to be better. Civil servants are the high devils of the country..

  2. Do you believe what kwame is saying? Let him put out the agric officer’s name so he could be dealt with. Remaining silent means he is condoning criminality and being unpatriotic. Losing so much money and doing nothing about it, Kwame, does not sound right and truthfull to all discerning minds.
