Calm has returned to Bawku Senior High School following an incident in which some students allegedly assaulted a teacher.

The Bawku Municipal Director of Education, Isaac Agbeko Azasoo, confirmed in a citinewsroom.com report that normal academic activities have resumed, with students back in their classrooms and continuing their examinations without further disruptions.

The incident reportedly occurred on the school campus and involved a teacher who was allegedly attacked by some final-year students, sparking concern among education authorities and the public.

The development revived concerns about the safety of teachers and the potential impact on teaching and learning, particularly at a time when students are writing examinations.

However, Mr. Azasoo assured parents, guardians, and the public that the situation has been brought under control and that the school is operating normally.

He stated that teaching and learning have fully resumed, while students remain focused on their examinations, restoring normalcy to the school community.

Mr. Azasoo further disclosed that no arrests have been made in connection with the alleged assault.

According to him, investigations have been hampered by the circumstances surrounding the incident, as it reportedly occurred at night, making it difficult to identify those responsible.

He also advised students to use appropriate channels to address concerns and grievances rather than resorting to violence.
