In his opinion, people in the witness box lie under oath all the time, thus, the bribery scandal can be a test case.

Lawyer Amaliba made the comment on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Monday while stressing that, the statement issued by former Attorney General, Marietta Brew Appiah-Oppong is the NDC’s position.

He stressed that, it was unfair for people to be pointing accusing fingers at past government officials based on “a one-sided statement by Airbus in court.”

“We are engaging in premature ejaculation because nowhere in the ruling was it written that a government official was soliciting or asking for bribes,” Lawyer Amaliba added.

The NDC man opined that, nowhere in the ruling by the UK High Court was it stated that, money was given to a particular government official. Mr Amaliba said until names are mentioned, those making noise about the Airbus scandal are just blowing hot air.
