An angry elderly voter in Agbogbloshie’s Korle Dudo Electoral Area has threatened to parade naked if better checks are not put in place.
Victoria Asiedua Amoah’s threats come on the back of claims that she had been delayed since 6:00 am Tuesday morning after officials said her name could not be found in the voters’ register.
Victoria only had the opportunity to vote after 5 hours when her name was suddenly discovered.
An angry Victoria told Joy News such attitude was not the best for the elderly who show up to vote, describing the incident a “deliberate” one.
Meanwhile, at the same electoral Area, less than 50 out of the expected 772 voters turned out.

Returning Officer for the area Theophilus Dorkutcho described patronage as the only negative factor in the elections so far.
He, however, expressed hopes of several voters joining in late afternoon after work.
He also debunked claims of the activity distracting students of his polling station, Richard Akwei Memorial School in Agbobloshie.
School remains in session while the compound remains an active electoral area.
