Government has appointed a nine-member Board of Directors to steer the affairs of the Ghana Gas Company.
The board, chaired by Hon Christine Churcher, also has the Chief Executive Officer Ghana Gas, Dr. Ben Asante as a member.
Other members of the board include, Hon. Andrew Kofi Egyapa, Mr. Awulae Amihere, Mad. Delphine Dogbegah, Nana Owusu Ababio, Hon.Abraham Ossei Aidoo and Mr. Joseph Kwaku Accolatse.
At a swearing-in ceremony in Accra today, Energy and Petroleum Minister, Boakye Agyarko charged the board to find innovative ways of securing sustainable revenue for the operations of company.
He also asked the board to concentrate on three thematic areas of technical, commercial and community relations.
The Minister also urged the board to ensure that all Gas sales agreement processing and transportation agreements are executed appropriately.
