Black Stars forward Prince Adu Kwabena has set his sights on breaking into Europe’s top five leagues, insisting he is committed to working tirelessly to achieve the dream.
The Viktoria Plzeň attacker, who joined the Czech side from Ukrainian club Kryvbas FC on a three-year deal in 2024, has quickly established himself as one of Ghana’s standout performers in Europe.
Adu Kwabena has impressed this season with eight goals across all competitions, underlining his growing influence in front of goal.
Speaking to Joy Sports, the energetic forward said his move to Plzeň was part of a carefully planned career path aimed at reaching the highest level of club football.
“Going to Viktoria Plzeň, my target was, in two to three years, to be in the top five leagues,” he said.
“I am still working very hard because it is not easy to get there. I am still on it, working very hard.
“I know it will come true, I am praying for that and working hard for it.”
On the international stage, Adu Kwabena has also been involved with the Black Stars, starting consecutive friendly matches against Austria and Germany as Ghana fine-tunes preparations ahead of the FIFA World Cup.
The forward remains in contention for a place in Ghana’s squad for the 2026 tournament in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
