The sister of late Ghanaian music icon Daddy Lumba, Ernestina Fosu, popularly known as Akosua Brempomaa, has made an emotional appeal to be shown the burial place of her brother nearly a year after his passing.
Speaking amid tears, she said it has been extremely difficult coping with his absence, stressing that although she accepts his death, the family deserves to know his final resting place in order to properly bid him farewell.
She lamented that, due to what she described as “public interference and agenda,” close family members have allegedly been denied access to information regarding his burial site.
According to her, the prolonged uncertainty has prevented the family from performing final rites, something she says is deeply important in their tradition and closure process.
She further expressed frustration that their concerns are often met with hostility when raised, insisting that the family is not seeking anything material but only the opportunity to visit his gravesite and say a proper goodbye.
The emotional plea has since sparked conversations among fans and the public, with many expressing sympathy and calling for unity and closure within the family.
