Officials of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), the Ghana Armed Forces and other emergency response agencies have visited victims of the building collapse at Adenta New Site as rescue operations continue at the scene.
The delegation visited the injured victims at the 37 Military Hospital and was led by NADMO Deputy Director-General (Operations), Teddy Safori Addi, together with the organisation’s Director of Inspectorate, Richard Amo Yartey.

They were joined by Frank Osei Amponsah, Commanding Officer of the 48 Engineers Regiment, and Dennis Adjannor Nartey, the Greater Accra Regional Director of NADMO.
Earlier, NADMO announced the deployment of personnel, in collaboration with sister emergency response agencies, to conduct rescue operations following the collapse of a building at Adenta New Site.

According to the organisation, rescue teams have been working tirelessly to rescue trapped persons and provide immediate assistance to those affected by the incident.
Authorities have urged members of the public to stay away from the area to allow emergency responders sufficient space to carry out their work effectively.

NADMO said efforts remain focused on rescuing victims, supporting affected families and coordinating emergency response measures as the situation continues to unfold.
