TGMA 27: Black Sherif wins Best HipHop Song, Best Afropop Song of the Year

Musician Black Sherif has won the Best HipHop Song of the Year award at the 27th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) currently underway at the Grand Arena in Accra.

The award-winning artiste secured the honour with his hit song Where Dem Boys, beating competition from some of the industry’s top rap acts.

Black Sherif also recorded another major win on the night after his song Sacrifice was named Best Afropop Song of the Year.

In the Collaboration of the Year category, Shoulder by Medikal featuring Shatta Wale and Beeztrap KOTM emerged as the winner.

Meanwhile, the International Collaboration of the Year award went to Shake It To The Max Remix by MOLIY, Shenseea, Skillibeng and Silent Addy.

The 27th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards continues to celebrate outstanding achievements in Ghana’s music industry, bringing together musicians, producers, entertainment personalities and music lovers from across the country.
