The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has successfully relocated a swarm of bees following a distress call from residents at Apenkwa–Simpoa Mmiɛnsa in Accra.
According to a statement from the Service, the call was received at about 3:14 p.m., reporting a bee invasion at a residential property. A nine-member team, led by ADO I Ohene, was immediately dispatched to the scene and arrived within minutes.

Upon arrival, the team found a large swarm of bees clustered on a tree, posing a potential threat to residents in the area.
After assessing the situation, the officer in charge directed a carefully coordinated operation to safely relocate the bees without harm to either the residents or the insects.
The operation was successfully completed at about 4:32 p.m., with no casualties recorded.

Officials say the swift response helped to prevent possible injuries and ensured the safety of people living in the area.
