The Western North Regional Minister, Wilbert Petty Brentum, has commended the government for selecting five major roads in the region under its flagship “Big Push” infrastructure initiative.

According to the Minister, the inclusion of these critical road networks reflects the government’s commitment to addressing the region’s long-standing transportation challenges.

He noted that many communities in the region have struggled with poor road conditions, affecting trade, access to services, and general mobility.

The Minister expressed optimism that the completion of the projects will significantly improve the movement of goods and people, stimulate local economic activities, and enhance connectivity within the region and beyond. He made this known when the Roads Minister visited the region.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Roads and Highways, Kwame Governs Agbodza, expressed confidence that the project would be completed on time.
