New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer hopeful, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has declared that former Vice President and 2024 presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, holds no relevance in his life.
According to Mr Agyapong, he does not concern himself with Dr Bawumia, claiming the former Vice President “does not exist” in his life.
“I do not have time for Dr Bawumia. In my life, he does not exist, because if he existed, I might commit a crime. That is how I see myself,” he said.
He further alleged that Dr Bawumia was behind controversial remarks made by the Bono Regional Chairman of the party, Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC.
Mr Agyapong also cautioned against what he described as attempts to manipulate the upcoming NPP flagbearer election, insisting that he believes in the party’s structures and processes.
“I don’t have time for Dr. Bawumia. He doesn’t exist in my world. If I had his time, I would’ve sinned because he’s behind most of the attacks on my person”

“I do not have time for them, but that does not mean they should rig the election. I know all the Electoral Commission officials my opponents have engaged with, and they plan to use the party’s internal security to intimidate people,” he claimed.
Kennedy Agyapong expressed disappointment over what he described as a lack of appreciation for his contributions to the party during the last election.
“Did I not campaign for him? After the election, did he even call to say thank you? Some of his supporters were insulting me. The only loyal person from his camp was NAPO,” he lamented.
