Johnson Asiedu Nketiah ,Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC)

The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has declared that the next NDC government will revoke all last-minute promotions and appointments made by the outgoing New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration.

Speaking at a victory thank-you rally in Sunyani, Berekum, and Seikwa, Mr. Nketiah accused the NPP government of issuing appointment letters and promoting officials in public institutions as a last-ditch effort to maintain influence.

He questioned the motives behind these decisions, alleging they were designed to cover up wrongdoings in government institutions.

The NDC Chairman also issued a stern warning to individuals allegedly involved in manipulating election results, including government-backed security personnel.

He assured NDC supporters that party leadership is addressing the issues and urged them to remain calm.

The remarks were part of broader post-election discussions, with Mr. Nketiah emphasizing the party’s commitment to accountability and transparency in governance.
