Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Emmanuel Andrews Samini, widely known in the showbiz circles as Samini, says if not for music he would have been a poor man.
Speaking on Joy Prime’s ‘E with Becks’, the musician disclosed that he was so broke when he decided to pursue music as a career.
He said “I own everything I have to music. I had zero when I stepped out to pursue my dream.

Asked if he wasn’t afraid since music back then wasn’t lucrative as it is presently to forgo monthly income jobs, the dancehall artiste cum farmer said even though he had no guarantee in the music industry, he believed in the dream.

“To the extent that I know I don’t have a monthly income but somehow someway this job and field with no guarantee somehow someway feeds me and everything around me…” he told Joy News’s Becky.
“So I think music has done everything for me…” He concluded.
