Ghana’s ambassador to Congo, Atta Boafo, has given the assurance that fans of Asante Kotoko will be given adequate protection during their CAF Confederations cup return leg with CARA Club.
The government official admits some members of CARA Club feel cheated by the avalanche of penalties awarded Asante Kotoko in the first leg in Ghana but he will make sure he puts everything in order before the Kotoko Officials arrive on Friday.
“Congo is not as horrible as it is been painted back home in Ghana. The only barrier is the language because they speak only French. I witnessed the intimidation meted out to the Black Stars last year and we will ensure it does not happen again to Asante Kotoko”, he assured.
“Asante Kotoko must just prepare well and be ready to deliver on the field of play; there is nothing else to be worried about”.
