Students of the Koforidua Technical School, (KOTEC) in the Eastern region have attacked students of the SDA SHS leading to some injuries.
The Effiduase District Police Commander, DSP Daniel Yaro, has led a team of Police personnel to the school to control the riot.
A confrontation ensued between the boys of both school leading to the destruction of some properties at SDA school.
It is alledged that, the KOTEC boys went to the SDA school to chase girls but met some resistance from their colleagues at SDA secondary school.
There KOTEC boys have since been attacking the SDA school till this morning when they accosted a form 1 day student of SDA secondary school, Master Frank Dordunu ridding on a bicycle to school and attacked him with knife.
A police patrol vehicle dispatched to the SDA school to protect lives and property this morning has also been attacked.
Presently, management of SDA secondary school and the regional directorate of education are in a crunch meeting over the issue.
Four students of KOTEC between the ages of 17 and 19 were arrested but have been granted bail.
