Old students and current students of the University Hall of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) have vowed not to rest until the management of the university rescinds its decision to convert the hall into a mixed hall.
According to the group, a statement issued by the university clearly shows that management of the school is following the blind leadership of the Vice Chancellor without understanding the main issues on the ground.

In a video the group members known as ‘Katangees’ are seen shouting and calling on management to back down on their decision.
Meanwhile, Police in Kumasi have picked up five members of the University Hall, popularly known as Katanga hall over suspected disturbance.
