Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show, Mr Akpaloo who schooled Ghanaians on the need for the legalisation of Marijuana, also extolled the health benefits of the herb.

“I will legalise marijuana in Ghana for commercial purposes if I’m voted as president in election 2020 since the herb has proven to be medically beneficial to society. Marijuana has been legalised in other countries and in Canada for instance, it contributes about $6million to the country’s country,” he noted.

“Let’s think of the commercial benefits of the herbs; it is used to manufacture shoes, clothes, used to cure convulsion and a whole lot of sickness so I think we need to think of its legalisation,” he stated.
