The police have arrested three Nigerians and some Ghanaians after the rescue of the two Canadian nationals abducted in Kumasi in the Ashanti region.

According to reports, 14 people were involved in the abduction of the victims, an incident that occurred on June 4, 2019.

The Canadians were rescued after exchange of gunfire between Ghanaian security operatives and the abductors.

According to Nhyira FM’s Ohemeng Tawiah, police investigations are ongoing to arrest several others involved in the abduction.
