Veteran actress Selassie Ibrahim is mourning the loss of her husband, former Agriculture Minister Ibrahim Adam.
Ibrahim Adam, who also served as the Member of Parliament for Choggu/Tishigu and was the Nanton Kanshennaa, died in the early hours of today at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC), where he was receiving medical treatment.
Confirming the heartbreaking news, Selassie Ibrahim took to Instagram to pay tribute to her late husband, sharing a series of photographs capturing moments they spent together.
The tribute included intimate family moments and photographs of the couple, including one from his recent birthday celebration.
“Rest well🙏🏼😭 our hearts are broken beyond words. Your legacy lives on,” she wrote.
Selassie Ibrahim and Ibrahim Adam were married and had two children together, a son and a daughter.
His family has announced that his remains are being airlifted from Accra to Tamale, where he will be buried according to Islamic rites.
