Singer Sista Afia says she was very sceptical abut meeting dancehall act, Shatta Wale for the first time when she had to.
Speaking on Adom FM’s Work and Happiness show, Sista Afia said due to some reportage she had read about Shatta, she thought the “Island” hitmaker had a rowdy personality.

“It was scary when I was informed to wait for him outside. When he appeared he mentioned my name and asked that we record some songs together. The media portrayed him to be a rude person; I thought Shatta wasn’t approachable.”
According to Sista Afia, Shatta Wale has a cool attitude and is very down-to-earth person much in contrast to what some people say about him.
“He was different than I thought. He started taking me to shows and I give him all the respect he deserves,” she said.

Sista Afia, however, maintained that she has never dated Shatta Wale.
“We only have music business,” she told OPD.
