Dancehall heavyweight Shatta Wale has launched a global data collection and premium membership drive for his fanbase, the Shatta Movement (SM).

The flagship initiative centres on the introduction of a digital SM Gold Card, which requires fans to complete formal registration through an exclusive online portal.

By shifting the movement away from informal social media fan communities, the award-winning musician aims to build a verified global database to support corporate partnerships and large-scale social and development projects.

Announcing the initiative to his followers across digital platforms, Shatta Wale said:

The SM Gold Card is being issued on a limited membership basis at a flat fee of GH¢100 per user.

According to project details, registration grants members official Shatta Movement status, a unique global membership number, integration into local fan chapters, and access to a digital fan community.

In a video message explaining the long-term vision of the platform, Shatta Wale stressed the importance of structure and collective effort in building economic influence.

“What I’m telling you guys for us to build, it’s not me alone, it’s us,” he said. “This whole ShattaMovementFanbase.com site that I’ve created is for us to get identified because we are going to be doing projects.”

He outlined plans for the collective strength of the fanbase and database to support the creation of hospitals, schools, businesses, and factories across Ghana, aimed at generating employment opportunities.
