President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku, has delivered a confident message ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, insisting the Black Stars are ready to dominate and crush their group opponents.

Ghana, four-time African champions, will be making their fifth appearance at the global showpiece and have been drawn in Group L alongside Panama, England and Croatia.

The Black Stars have struggled to progress beyond the group stage in recent editions, exiting at the first hurdle in both 2014 and 2022.

Speaking to members of the Ghanaian community in the United States, Okraku struck an assertive tone about the team’s prospects this time around.

“We have three opponents at this World Cup: Panama, England and Croatia. We will crush all of them,” he said.

Ghana open their campaign against Panama on Wednesday at BMO Field in Toronto, before taking on England on June 23 at Gillette Stadium. Their final group fixture comes against Croatia on June 27.

The team is expected to arrive in Canada later today as preparations intensify for their opening match.
