The maiden edition of the Quodarkie Creator Awards (QCA) will be held on November 7, 2026, at the Kristall Event Palast in Bremen, Germany, bringing together African and diaspora digital creators for a night celebrating creativity, influence and social impact.
Public voting for the Best Comedy Creator of the Year category is already open, with Sam Qweeku, Genesis and Putogo shortlisted for the title.
Fans can vote at www.quodarkieawards.com/vote, with organisers describing the contest as one where “every vote counts.”

The QCA is an international awards initiative created to recognise African digital creators, influencers, entertainers, entrepreneurs and media personalities whose work shapes conversations and connects audiences across borders.
Organisers say the platform responds to the growing influence of African talent on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, spanning comedy, education, fashion, dance, lifestyle and social impact content.

Beyond the trophies, organisers say the initiative is designed to give creators greater visibility, expand their professional networks and build relationships with brands, media organisations and other industry stakeholders on an international stage.
The 2026 edition will honour creators across categories including Creator of the Year, Rising Star, Most Influential Creator, Best Educational Creator, Best Original Concept, Best Video Production Quality, Social Impact, Positive Influence, Best Event Organiser and Best Diaspora Creator – Europe, among others.

As with the comedy category, the public will have a say in several categories through open voting.
By staging the ceremony in Germany, organisers say QCA aims to strengthen ties between creators on the African continent and those building careers across Europe and the wider diaspora, underlining that African creativity “has no geographical boundaries.”

Rather than ranking creators purely on follower counts, the awards say they will weigh creativity, consistency, originality, influence, production quality and positive social contribution, with organisers positioning Quodarkie as a long-term annual platform for African digital excellence.
Organisers are also inviting corporate organisations, brands, media houses and community groups interested in partnering with the initiative, as engagement around the November ceremony continues to build.
