Veteran highlife artist Rex Owusu Marfo, popularly known as Rex Omar, says there is nothing like a profane song.

Speaking on Hitz FM’s show Daybreak Hitz on Tuesday he explained that, it is the music lovers who read meanings to the songs.

“There is nothing like a profane song it’s just how people read meanings to it” he stated.

At best, Rex Omar said the supposed profane songs is a form of sex education for the youth.

“Music is inspired by life and sex is part of life so if an artist is inspired by sex which we call profane, then there is nothing wrong with it”, he added.
