An airline passenger got a mile-high clubbing from his wife after she discovered midflight that he was cheating on her — and she grew so violent that it forced an emergency landing.
The Iranian woman, already suspicious of her hubby, used his finger while he was asleep to unlock his phone during a flight from Doha, Qatar, to the island of Bali on Sunday, according to The Times of India.
She soon discovered proof of her husband’s affair in all its sordid glory.
A couple of drinks deep, the spurned woman pounced on her snoozing spouse. Flight attendants tried to calm her down, to no avail, the report said.
The situation grew so “out of hand” that the pilot had to land in the southern Indian city of Chennai to boot the couple, authorities said.
“A lady along with her husband and a child, all Iranian nationals, were off-loaded by Qatar Airways as the lady passenger misbehaved with crew members in-flight,” said an official from India’s Central Industrial Security Force.
Qatar Airways declined to comment, citing “passenger privacy.”
After booting the unidentified family, the flight resumed its seven-hour journey to Bali, while the wife reportedly sobered up for a day in Chennai before the family returned to Doha.
