Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has visited visited the gas explosion site at Atomic junction in Accra which claimed five lives and injured many.
This visit is to get first hand information on the extend of damage in the area.
The fire which stated about 7 pm Saturday night October 7, 2017 also caught an adjacent filing station setting ablze many vehicles at a nearby taxi and commercial bus station.
Five were killed, 40 people injured and two in critical condition at the 37 Military hospital.
Public Relations Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service, Prince Billy Anaglatey said they are at the site to ensure there is no explosion.
