Two people, including an unidentified child have been killed in gory motor accident involving a Metro Mass Transit bus on the Asankragua-Enchi road of the Western region.
Thirty-three people, two in critical condition were injured in the accident.
The bus, with registration number AW 81-09 is said to have skidded off the road into a nearby bush after it burst a tyre at about 4:30 a.m.

Enchi District Police Commander, Supt Raymond Kofi Erzuah says two of the victims who were in critical condition have been rushed to the theatre of the Enchi Government Hospital where other injured persons are being treated.
Mr. Erzuah who commended personnel at the Enchi government hospital for their selfless work has asked passengers to report indiscipline drivers to the police.
“Driving on the road in this foggy weather condition should come with a lot of care.  Passengers must have the courage to report drivers who over speed to the police. They most tend to keep quiet but that is bad.
“Drivers should do the right thing by ensuring their vehicles are in good condition before they start any trip. They should routinely maintain their vehicles to prevent the unfortunate,” he said said.

Meanwhile, 29 of the victims have been treated and discharged whilst one of the deceased have been identified as 45-year-old Asana Ibrahim.
