Legendary highlife musician, Daniel Amakye Dede has openly saluted the national Road safety Ambassador, Gabby Adu Gyamfi for taking up the road safety campaign to a new level.

According to Amakye Dede, who was involved in an accident in which he lost his manager somewhere at a spot near Osino, road crash is serious and needs a collaborative effort to fight it.

“It’s a shared responsibility not an individual affair,” he said.

The celebrated musician was speaking at Asante Akyem Agogo when he joined the road safety Ambassador and his team to sensitize road users on road safety.

He also called on all stakeholders to collaborate with the road safety ambassador to do more to save lives in the country as many are losing their lives through road crashes.

Currently, over 5000 road users have received training from the road safety Ambassador through workshops organised for them from 3rd May to 13th October 2017.

 

The training has also generated an amount of GHC 1,500,000.00 to the government.

Gabby Adu Gyamfi also promised that, he won’t relent on his responsibilities and the mandate given to him.

He assured the general public that he will continue to bring people together to train them to help mitigate road crashes in the country.
