Controversial Counsellor, George Lutterodt, has advised couples who have divorced due to childlessness not to be hard on themselves.
Childlessness is a major underlining cause of some conflicts in marriage because in Ghana children are the focus of most marriages, making marriage without children look like a bad omen.
But in an interview with host Afia Amankwah Tamakloe on Adom TV, the marriage counsellor said it is better to walk away from a childless marriage than be ridiculed.

According to the counsellor, “if a marriage would collapse because the couple cannot conceive, let it be…”
“The choice to stay in a marriage without a child would only render the couples to be mocked at; they would face harsh criticisms and be tortured by both family and friends…” Counsellor Lutterodt stressed.

He advised couples who are having a hard time conceiving to make time for sex and research on the source(s) of their problem.
“The cause of the problem is the solution. If I am married to you and I have low sperm count who is supposed to suffer; how many times do they have sexual intercourse? Some people only have sex Saturdays and Sundays. How do you get pregnant?” He queried.
