According to the NDC’s Deputy Chief Scribe, the Minister of Information, Mustapha Hamid is not on top of his job and lacks the credibility to occupy that opposition.

His comment comes after the Minister in an attempt to defend President Akufo-Addo’s appointments of 110 ministers said the “NPP never promised a lean government.”

Mustapha Hamid opined that in the running of a government numbers does not matter.

“Nowhere did we ever promise a lean government because in our view it is not the leanness or bigness of a government that determines its output or its ultimate performance,” he said at a press conference on Wednesday.

Adding that – “We have had in the history of this country governments that are smaller that have landed this country in bigger debts and a bigger mess than governments that have had bigger ministers.”

His utterances compelled Koku Anyidoho to tag him as unknowledgeable.

“Mustapha Hamid talks like a kindergarten kid. He should tell that to the aliens,” he said on NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’.
