A man whose family was made to believe that he had died by the Nkwatia Government Hospital, in the Kwahu East District of the Eastern Region, so they would settle his unpaid medical bills, is now appealing for financial support to survive.
Relatives of Daniel Amuzu, popularly known as Kitikra, were informed by the hospital that he had passed away during treatment. Believing he was dead, family members rushed to settle his outstanding medical bills — only to discover he was still alive.
Now discharged, Daniel says his condition has continued to deteriorate, leaving him unable to work or fend for himself. He is struggling to afford both medication and daily feeding.
Speaking to Adom News in an interview at Hweehwee, where he currently resides, he said he feels abandoned and is desperately in need of help.
“I am still not feeling well. I don’t have money for medicine or even food. I am pleading with Ghanaians to support me before my condition gets worse,” he said.
He is appealing to individuals, philanthropists, charitable organisations, and authorities to come to his aid so he can access proper medical care.
