Vice Chairperson of the FIFA Normalization Committee, Lucy Quist has apologized over her contradictory comments on the missing Zylofon Cash contract document.

The spokesperson of the Normalization Committee, Dan Kweku Yeboah sparked a frenzy on Adom TV last week when he claimed that the Zylofon Cash sponsorship contract for the Ghana Premier League cannot be found at the premises of the Ghana Football Association.

But Lucy Quist contrarily stated emphatically on Joy FM that, she has seen the agreement between the federation and the company that sponsored the Ghana Premier League.

Unexpectedly, the chairperson is now out and has admitted with an apology that, what she said is not the truth rather, she mistakenly communicated the information.

“Thank you to everyone who tuned in to hear me on the super morning show on Joy fm. I hope the discussion gave some food for thought. There was one error in my submission that I would like to correct.  I erroneously said the GFA has the Zylofon contract. The GFA does not. For this error, I apologize. I hope this clarifies the matter. Thank you.”  She wrote.

It will be recalled that Zylofon Cash was unveiled as the headline sponsor for the country’s topflight on May 17, 2018, at the Movenpick Hotel in Accra.
