New Patriotic Party Member of Parliament for Tema East, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus–Glover, says the Akufo-Addo-led government is on course as far as developmental achievements are concerned.
To him, President Akufo-Addo deserves a second term following the good work his government has undertaken since assuming office.
According to him, critical road projects are currently being undertaken to ensure that every part of the country has quality roads.
“Akufo-Addo is gradually fixing roads abandoned by the National Democratic Congress. Go to Tema Motorway roundabout, the overpass and the roads. TT Brother’s junction, to DVLA all the way to the traffic lights have seen major development,” he said.
Speaking on Adom FM’s morning show Dwaso Nsem, Monday, Mr Titus –Glover, who is also the Deputy Minister for Transport mentioned some projects being taken by the government to improve the road infrastructure of the nation.
“Under Akufo-Addo, we are doing concrete roads that can last 60 years in Tema East. My constituents have their roads fixed. Go and see what’s happening. Go to Eastern region, Volta Region, we are touching base in all those regions” he said.
Residents in different parts of the country have in recent times embarked on several demonstrations over the deplorable state of roads in their communities.
However, Mr Titus-Glover says his government is committed to addressing the problem of deplorable roads across the country and will never abandon Ghanaians.
