Justin Bieber broke down in tears as he performed in front of his church congregation for the first time.
Leading the service at Hillsong Church in Los Angeles, the Sorry singer spoke about his journey to find God and the difficult couple of years he has had, crying as he did so.
He then led the congregation in song, performing with the church band while wearing a white t-shirt, beanie hat and baggy shorts from his Drew clothing line.

Members of the congregation spoke about the moment on Twitter, with one writing: ‘Justin Bieber lead [sic] worship at church tonight & was so vulnerable & one thing he kept repeating was there is power in your weakness & vulnerability & like that was the TRUTH.’
The 25-year-old was later seen leaving the service with his wife Hailey Baldwin, who also sported a lowkey look in jogging bottoms, a lime green top and black leather jacket.
The married couple, who tied the knot in 2018, are thought to have bonded over their faith, which is something Justin has turned to heavily in recent years.

However, his church Hillsong, which holds services across the UK, has been accused of packaging up very traditional church values for the Instagram generation, with some people even calling it an anti-LGBTQ+ cult.
Religion played a huge part in Justin’s decision to marry 22-year-old Hailey at such a young age, as the singer admitted to living a celibate life in the year before the couple wed and wanting to have sex with his girlfriend.
