Captain Maxwell met his untimely death on Monday in Diaso in the Central region where town folks mistook him for an armed robber and lynched him.
The actor who was under fire last week for a ridiculing a graduate who sells bread for a living on the streets of Accra in a tweet indicated that he was heartbroken reading news of the death of the Soldier who was helping in the fight against galamsey.
He, however, called for a look at mob action in Ghana in order to bring the dastardly act to an end in the country.
Below is his tweet:
Reading the news on the death of Capt Mahama just breaks my heart. It’s time to take a second look at “mob justice” in Gh.
