Leading events management company Jandel Limited has launched the Zoya Impact Foundation, a mentorship and fellowship programme designed to identify, train and empower the next generation of events professionals across Ghana.

The initiative was unveiled as part of the company’s 30th anniversary celebrations, marking three decades of contribution to Ghana’s events and hospitality industry.

The foundation will run a structured 12-month programme that combines mentorship from experienced industry professionals, practical training, real-world project experience, business development support and networking opportunities.

According to Jandel, the programme seeks to address a long-standing gap in the events industry by creating a formal pathway for young professionals seeking careers in event planning and management.

The foundation will operate through a nationwide roadshow model, travelling across all regions of Ghana rather than being confined to Accra.

As part of the initiative, partnerships will be established with universities, polytechnics, tertiary institutions and community organisations to identify and recruit talented individuals from across the country.

Participants will receive training from experts specialising in key areas of the industry, including lighting, sound engineering, catering, logistics, sustainability, digital marketing and brand development.

The foundation is the brainchild of Jandel Limited’s Chief Executive Officer, Margaret Afi Amoro, and is named after her traditional name, Zoya. According to the company, the name reflects a commitment to nurturing talent and protecting excellence within the industry.

Upon completion of the programme, fellows will graduate with practical industry experience, mentorship support, business growth opportunities and a Jandel-endorsed credential expected to be recognised across the events sector.

Jandel said the initiative forms part of its broader commitment to developing human capital and strengthening the future of Ghana’s growing events industry.
