New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Organiser hopeful and former Greater Accra Regional Minister, Daniel Titus-Glover, says his ongoing campaign has taught him valuable lessons about leadership, relationships and the essence of political service.
Speaking on Adom FM Dwaso Nsem, Mr Titus-Glover said his engagements with party members across the country had deepened his appreciation of the responsibility that comes with serving others.
He said the experience had reinforced his belief that humility and a genuine commitment to people should remain at the heart of political leadership.
“I have learnt and experienced a lot. But I take consolation in the fact that I was born to serve. Serve with humility, how to build relationships, and the fact that politics is about service to humanity and not self-gain or interests,” he said.
Mr Titus-Glover said his campaign had so far taken him across 15 regions and about 246 constituencies, giving him the opportunity to interact directly with party members and listen to their concerns.
“The campaign is going very well. I have been to 15 regions, which is about 246 constituencies. God willing, I will end it all in the Ashanti region next week,” he stated.
According to him, the reception from party members has also been encouraging, with many reminding him of his years of service and the record he has built within the party.
“And everywhere I go, people remind me about the fact that I have served diligently all these years and they know my track record,” he said.
He said the assurances and support from party members had strengthened his resolve to contribute to the NPP’s efforts to return to power in the 2028 general elections.
“They have assured to vote for me as the party seeks to recapture power in 2028,” he added.
Mr. Titus-Glover also disclosed that he takes notes during his engagements, documenting the concerns and suggestions raised by party members.
“After speaking, I take notes in my notebook writing their concerns and feedback,” he said.
He explained that the feedback gathered from the grassroots would serve as a guide as he seeks to help rebuild the party and secure victory for the NPP and its 2028 presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
“These will guide me into working to secure power for the NPP and Bawumia,” he said.
