Players of Accra Hearts of Oak were attacked by a session of the Club’s fans after their 1-2 defeat at the hands of Tema Youth in Match Day 7 of the Ghana Premier League.
The irate fans threw objects and booed at the team as they made their way out of the Tema Sports Stadium after the game.
Hearts suffered their third defeat of the season as they lost to mid-table side, Tema Youth.
The result looks unpleasant for the team who are preparing for the crucial derby game against Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Hearts slipped on the League table after the defeat to Tema Youth.
They now occupy the 9th position with 9 points from 7 matches.
