Seasoned football administrator, Takyi Arhin has said it is good news the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has woken up from its slumber and has decided to investigate the alleged corrupt acts in the Ghana Premier League.

Weeks after various quarters have raised serious issues of bribery and corruption in the premier league, the ethics committee of the Ghana Football Association have decided to investigate these allegations to the latter and this Takyi Arhin believes is the best.

According to CEO of Berlin Fc, “we are all for equity and fairness in our game and this decision to look into these allegations is long overdue”

Mr. Arhin on Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sport show Wednesday, hoped the Committee will not be selective and will be bold to punish any club or individual found guilty.

“I only wish the Ethics committee will be fair to all quarters and not be selective in dealing with people involved and found culpable”, He added.

“It is good the Ghana Football Association has woken up from their slumber. They have been sleeping for long and this issue of bribery is killing our game” he stated.

Hearts of Oak in recent times has been the premier league club to be heavily hit with allegations of bribery and match fixing and its management is also taking steps to nib it inthe bud.
