New Patriotic Party Member of Parliament (MP) for Agona West Constituency, Mrs Cynthia Morrison is being blamed for lack of development in the constituency.

Mr Kwesi Ampofo, a member of the constituency’s council of elders, alleged on Adom FM’s morning show Dwaso Nsem, Monday that there was a frosty relationship between the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) and the MP for Agona West constituency.
“The MCE has her own people who support her likewise the MP and so the MP always tells us nobody will listen to our petition even when raised,” he claimed.

He further told Adom FM’s Captain Smart that:

“The Agona West constituency has been abandoned by the lawmaker who no longer engages us in any party activity. She now has her own council of elders and constituency executives she works with because she doesn’t want to be criticised.”
