Veteran highlife musician, Amakye Dede, has been installed a chief at Agogo in the Asante Akim North Municipal area of the Ashanti Region.
An honorary chieftaincy title was conferred on the musician over the weekend.

The title was conferred on him by the Omanhene of Asante Akim Agogo, Nana Kwame Akuoko Sarpong.

The Iron Boy hit singer was given the stool name, Berima Okyeredom Amakye Dede I.

 The title was bestowed on Amakye Dede because he is a crowd-puller and exceptional singer who has won numerous accolades for himself and Agogo.
